Class Description

Create your own unique glass ornaments with Lindsay LeBlanc!

It was over 200 years ago in Lauscha, Germany, where skilled glassblowers first crafted delicate glass bulbs by hand.  The fun forms, bright colors and sparkling reflections of Glass Ornaments have always added a touch of magic and joy to the festive atmosphere and we are excited to celebrate this glass tradition with you this winter at Mulranny Arts! As part of our winter glass offerings Lindsay will host hands-on, guided flameworking experiences that share this timeless art form and beloved holiday glass tradition.

Experience includes:

  • Introduction to borosilicate glass, torch technology and our glass studio!

  • Design inspiration and demonstration

  • Hands-on guidance at your own torch

  • Selection from a palette of inspiring colors

  • Take home your beautiful, handmade glass ornament

  • Beginners welcome - no experience necessary!!

    [duration: approx. 2hrs]

Choose From:

Candy Canes and Icicles [Sculptural Glass]
Twist, shape and stretch your own festive glass icicle or candy cane.

Blown Glass Ornament [Hollow Forms]
Working with glass tubing, color application and blowing techniques, you’ll create a beautiful blown form with your own detail and style!
