Class and Workshop places

Places in our classes and workshops are offered on a first come, first served basis to individuals, once payment has been made. If a course or workshop is over subscribed or has insufficient subscription to allow it to proceed, the student may be offered the option of a transfer to another class or workshop, or a full refund of their course fee.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to pro-rate courses. It is not possible to reimburse individuals for missed day(s) or hours on a course or workshop. Even if students know in advance that they cannot attend one of the dates of the course/workshop that they have signed/or wish to sign up for. All classes must be paid for in advance regardless of attendance.

Class and Workshop Cancellation Policy

If a class is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient subscriptions or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be offered. A transfer to another class will also be considered if possible.

If a Student cancels a class at any time up to 10 days prior to the class, a refund will be given minus a 15% booking fee. This 15% fee can also be held on credit for the Student for a future class.

If a Student cancels a class 10 days or less prior to the class a refund minus 15% will be given if the the class space is filled by a waitlisted Student. If the space is not filled the full class fee is forfeited.

Many of our Teachers travel quite a distance to teach at Mulranny Arts and we need to ensure sufficient class numbers to make the class viable. We appreciate your understanding on this policy. Any deposits made to secure a place in a course or workshop are non-refundable.

Art Retreats Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we aim to offer a fair and flexible cancellation policy for our 7-day Art Retreats. Please review the following terms carefully to ensure clarity and peace of mind:

Deposit and Payment Terms

Depending on the retreat’s timing and the booking arrangements, we may offer a payment plan, typically consisting of:

  • A non-refundable deposit to secure your spot.

  • The remaining balance payment due by a specified date prior to the retreat.

    In some cases, no deposit may be required. See details below for refund policies in this scenario.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 60+ Days Before the Retreat:

    If you cancel 60 or more days before the retreat start date:

    • If a deposit was required, you will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.

    • If no deposit was required, you will receive a full refund, minus a 15% administration fee.

  • Cancellations 30-59 Days Before the Retreat:

    • If a deposit was required, you will receive a 50% refund of the total retreat cost, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

    • If no deposit was required, you will receive a 50% refund, minus a 15% administration fee.

    • If we are able to fill your spot from a waiting list, you may be eligible for a full refund, less the deposit or 15% administration fee.

  • Cancellations Less Than 30 Days Before the Retreat:

    • If a deposit was required, no refunds will be issued unless we are able to fill your spot from the waiting list. In that case, you will receive a full refund, minus the deposit.

    • If no deposit was required, no refunds will be issued unless a replacement is found. If we can fill your spot, you will receive a full refund, minus a 15% administration fee.

Travel and Insurance Recommendations

To protect your investment, we strongly recommend that all participants obtain travel insurance that covers both retreat fees and travel expenses in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, travel disruptions).

This ensures you are protected should you need to cancel last minute, as we cannot offer refunds or credits outside of the conditions outlined above.

Cancellation by Mulranny Arts

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a retreat, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit. However, Mulranny Arts is not responsible for other costs incurred, such as travel bookings, accommodation (outside of retreat dates), or insurance

Mulranny Arts Commitment: We commit to providing the retreat experience as described, and we will make all necessary arrangements in advance to ensure your participation is enjoyable and rewarding.

Insurance Reminder: While retreat insurance is not mandatory, we strongly recommend it to safeguard your investment.

We believe this policy balances the needs of our participants and Mulranny Arts, ensuring fairness and flexibility while acknowledging the upfront costs associated with organising retreats. Please consider your personal circumstances and insurance coverage before booking your retreat with us. We look forward to sharing a memorable and inspiring retreat experience with you.

Mailing List & GDPR

Mulranny Arts will not share your information with external parties. Your email details are kept in our database and added to relevant mailing lists based on your registration or expressed interests. To unsubscribe, use the option provided at the bottom of communications.

Admission

Mulranny Arts reserve the right of admission.  Participants must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate in our Adult Art Classes and Workshops, individuals younger than this may not be excluded but will require parental/guardian consent.

Photography

Any photographs taken at Mulranny Arts is by permission only from the Teacher, Students and Mulranny Arts Management.

Lost Property

Any items of clothing, tools and workshop supplies will be held for safekeeping for 6 months. The items will then be dispersed or given to a charity shop if not claimed or held with instructions.

Closures

In the event of closure or when a class has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, e.g. bad weather or teacher illness, every effort will be made to contact students in advance. Alternative dates and arrangements will be made where possible.

Classes can be booked online or a reservation to be placed on a waiting list can be made by phone or text.

All payments are made securely through our Squarespace web platform at www.mulrannyarts.com, processed via Stripe and Paypal, or by bank transfer directly to our bank.

Gift Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for 5 years from the specified purchase date and are for art classes and workshops at Mulranny Arts only. They are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Classes and workshops must be booked at least one week in advance, and vouchers are redeemed by providing the voucher code during purchase, with the value refunded upon validation.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed on any of Mulranny Arts’ Properties at any time.

Health & Safety

Mulranny Arts aims to provide a creative environment while upholding health and safety standards for employees, tutors, visiting artists and participants. Please review our Health & Safety statement and risk assessment manual upon arrival for a class or workshop. (available in our Administration Office) We encourage individuals to be aware of hazards and take appropriate precautions.  We encourage individuals to please take note of all fire safety measures and fire procedures posted on studio and campus walls.
Individuals must use handrails while using the stairs.
